I kept the powerful soul of Sauvage intact by giving it nocturnal accents, animal attraction and rounder facets. » François Demachy, Dior Perfumer-Creator The powerful aromatic freshness of Sauvage Parfum is illuminated by the crackle of a luscious and spicy mandarin note. The intoxicating swirls of a suave tonka bean note with leathery and bitter aromas coat its trail dominated by the note of precious sandalwood. From a Sri Lankan plantation that has partnered with Dior for more than 10 years, the sandalwood note present in Sauvage Parfum has rich nuances and exceptional qualities thanks to very specific cultivation methods. Difficult to cultivate, it is accompanied at the beginning of its growth then “released” in a completely wild plantation where nature takes back its rights. It is in this harsh and natural universe where the hand of man no longer intervenes that each tree continues to grow, struggles to unfold and last until sometimes reaching 100 years of age and more than 12 meters high. !
